Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) is the main student-led group at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), representing over 28,000 students. Through various projects, new policies, and outreach efforts, SGA works to improve the college experience for students while also building stronger connections between the university and the surrounding Richmond community.
SGA works closely with different student organizations, university staff, and government officials to make sure students' needs are addressed. To make sure students' voices are heard, SGA members talk to their peers in classes, at events, and in their office. The organization also creates and supports policies to tackle student concerns and provides financial support to student groups. SGA is always working to make life at VCU better.
As the representative body for all undergraduate students, SGA creates solutions to address student issues and regularly communicates with university, local, state, and national leaders. Through these efforts, SGA aims to improve the undergraduate experience and create a stronger community at VCU. Please visit the VCU SGA Website to learn more!
